IGO Graphics Automation

A multi-user automation and show-control package for live, data-driven studio graphics

IGO is ideally suited to complex unscripted shows like news, sport and election coverage that require multiple operators, and which may require real-time data feeds.

IGO screenshot IGO has an easy to understand user interface which is designed for non-technical users such as editorial and production staff to input and control graphics.

Taking data from wire-feeds and/or direct user input at the keyboard, the system creates lists and stacks of graphics control commands to send to dedicated broadcast graphics engines. Fully customisable with built-in scripting, IGO provides reliable, finger-tip control for production staff on the studio floor.

It is a fully multi-user system, allowing a team of editorial staff to work together to prepare graphics in real time.

Key Features of the IGO Automation System

  • Customisable graphics control commands - IGO has driven Matrox, Pinnacle, Brainstorm, tog3D and SG Onyx.
  • Fast user-input of 'type-in' graphics.
  • Wire-feed data can automate creation of multiple graphics.
  • Easy, visual stacking with drag-and-drop.
  • A single space-key press or button click fires graphics with exact timing.
  • Timer stack firing for automated output.
  • Instant transmission for wire-feed 'flashes'.
